Seasonal Changes Screensaver 1.0

Seasonal Changes Screensaver is very similar to an application we’ve recently gone over, mainly Change Of Seasons Screensaver. Both applications are offered free of charge by Wallpaper Screensaver, both applications work on just about any version of the Microsoft-developed Windows operating system, both applications are slideshow screensavers, and both applications display various images that focus on nature’s beauty and the changing seasons.

The main difference between the two is that Change of Seasons Screensaver is made up of 16 images while Seasons Changes Screensaver is made up of 14 images. Oh, and the images are different, obviously.

Getting back to the similarities between the two screensavers, both of them allow you to play with the following settings:
- Select the order in which the images will be displayed. You can choose between sequential, random and shuffle.
- Adjust for how long the images will be displayed; by default they will be displayed for 10 seconds. After displaying an image for 10 seconds the screensaver will move to the next image.
- Select what transition effects the screensaver will use when switching from one image to another. There are a myriad of effects to go through.
- Select the speed of the transition effects.
- Adjust the screensaver’s behavior. You can for example set it so the screensaver will exit only when you press the ESC key.
- Enable the “Start image painting on Desktop” option. When the “Start image painting on Desktop” option is selected, the screensaver doesn’t just show up; it uses a transition effect to pop in.

Both applications allow you to set an image you like as your desktop background by pressing F2.

Supported OS – at the time of writing this and according to the developer, Seasonal Changes Screensaver provides support for Windows 95, 98, 2000, ME, NT, Windows XP and Windows Vista. Tested the screensaver on Windows 7 and it seems to work fine on this Windows version as well.
Limitations – there are none since this application is freeware. You can use it free of charge for as long as you want.

• When the installation process completes, Internet Explorer (IE, not your default browser) launches and you are directed to the dwalls.com site.
• Creates desktop shortcuts without asking (a preview Seasonal Changes Screensaver link and a 3D Screensavers link that leads to ssaver.org).
• Changes Internet Explorer’s home page to knightstar.net; not your default browser’s homepage, IE’s homepage.
